- if the equipment contains dye or ink expelling gases, only small gas cartridges and receptacles containing gas with a capacity of not more than 50 ml and not containing constituents other than a division 2.2 gas are permitted. The release of gases must not cause discomfort or extreme discomfort to crew members that would prevent the crew members that would impede the proper performance of assigned duties.
